We offer a wide range of water-based activities in our swimming pools at Billingham Forum, Splash and Thornaby Pool. Whether you want to take part in an invigorating Aqua Aerobics class or simply swim lengths we have a comprehensive timetable for you.

Swimming is by far one of the most fun and enjoyable fitness activities. It's hard to beat swimming when it comes to a sport that strengthens the body, soothes the mind, regulates breathing, stimulates circulation and puts no stress on the joints. Swimming benefits the upper body, torso and legs together and is one of the fastest ways to improve general strength, stamina and cardiovascular fitness.

Swimming can serve as a cross training element to your regular workouts and with just 30 minutes of moderate effort you can burn off between 200-350 calories. Why not start with at least 30 minutes of swimming once a week to reveal a fitter, healthier and happier you!
